The device viewer feature of Web presents each monitored device with quick-reference statistics and in-depth per-metric graphs and histric monitoring data. The page/interface hierarchy used in Web is designed to provide quick and easy access to critical monitor data whilst still allowing the user to drill-down to the indepth statistical and operational data when required.
Each device is represented in Web with an At-A-Glance summary page that shows critical monitoring data including availability, system information and response time as well as device/vendor specific data such as CPU, memory and network interface utilisation.
The user can navigate through the hierarchy of monitoring data presented through Web to find detailed graphs and historic monitoring statistics on all monitored and recorded metrics. Graphs are presented in Last 48 Hour, Day, Week, Month and Year time periods with user-selected reference points.
Web provides a basic interface to manage open cases and active incidents recorded by Core. The user can open cases, add to case journals and close cases. Advanced Case Management is available through Console.
An Infrastructure Status Notice Board provides system and network administrators with a user-defined and managed notice board where current fault and/or condition information can be displayed to users. |
